English, at least to start w. was from MTV. I watched it pretty much non-stop during 91 to 93. Swedish, both learning and being in Sweden. Russian, being and studing.
Norwegian is similar to swedish as it is. that I kind of have a bit easy to learn languages, and on top of it I've worked in norway for about half a year.
danish... well.. thats kind of not a sucess story. I mean I can understand when they speak, but I have to reask quite often. and sometimes ask for swedish translation. its hard to explain... may be if you think of very strong "indish" dialect in English, that you can kind of see what I'm up against. (in reading I have no problem what so ever).
as for Ruthenian, I'm part ruthenian my self. as for Czech, I've lived there and in Russia, when I was little. so? so Czech is really similar to slovak. slovak is almost like czech only w. a few Russian words here and there. (if one simplifies a bit). and Ruthenian has even more Russian words.
as for german? well I guess its mostly from knowing English and Swedish and Norwegian.
